I don’t understand how the government says they can’t do anything about the flood because of nature but here singaporeans are paying them millions of dollars each year. A tree falls on a man, crushed his car, killed him, and it’s not the government’s fault, it’s nature. Maybe the tree shouldn’t have been planted there with and maybe they should have just left the tree at its natural habitat where it can actually allow longer and stronger roots and not be blocked by layers and layers of cement. The tree should have fallen on a minister instead and then prehaps the government might do something about it.
